I went to the shop expecting just to get a couple of ideas for dresses, to see what I liked and what fit. Like the motto says, “Our gowns will capture your heart” and indeed one of them did and I ended up walking out having purchased one and beaming because I was so happy.

The dressing and showing rooms were beautiful and designed with modesty in mind. They also included mirrors of every angle so that you could easily see the back, the front, the side of the dress and so on. The atmosphere was wonderful, upscale and fancy without being pretentious. The assistants were always courteous. Non-judgmental, extremely helpful and worked with the budget I had set for the dress.

Mrs. Warfield helped me with my dresses and we started out with her listening to what I liked in a wedding dress. Then we went to select the dresses. Even if one dress wasn't my size she said that she could clip one on to show me how it looked on my body. She let me pick out three gowns that I thought I'd like and then she picked out three dresses that she thought would look good on me. She provided a great balance of listening to me and what I wanted and using her expertise to incorporate that into a dress. She never forced a dress on me and the fitting was completely unobtrusive.

The dresses I thought I wanted turned out to not look all that great on me but she used certain aspects that did compliment my body to select gowns that included details that did look good on me. After trying the fifth dress on I thought it was the one I wanted, but there were a couple details that I wanted to change (make and applique into an organza flower, details like that) but the fit was perfect. So after listening to what I wanted to change about the dress she got two more of the same fit and suggested I try them on. One I saw I thought I'd hate but agreed to try it on and wow. I came out and it looked amazing on me and as soon as I saw it in the mirror I knew it was the one. Mrs. Warfield has an absolutely amazing artistic eye for so many things, what fits your body well, what colors look best on you, what colors make your wedding dress stand out, what will look best with what lighting and so on. She also let me try on veils to see the entire package and allowed us to take pictures to see how everything fit together. On top of that they have jewelry in the store along with bride's maids gowns so you truly can get the bridal party package in one stop. I just can't say enough good things about TLC Bridal Boutique, the experience was amazing and one that I will fondly remember well past just the wedding.  I highly recommend this shop.     -Kathleen M.
